Download OpenVPN Connect:
- Open your preferred web browser on your Windows computer.
- Go to the official OpenVPN Connect download page: https://openvpn.net/client-connect-vpn-for-windows/
- Click on the "Download for Windows" button to start the download.

Run the Installer:
- Locate the downloaded installer file (usually named something like "openvpn-connect-*.exe") and double-click on it.
- Windows might display a security warning; click "Run" or "Yes" to proceed.

Install OpenVPN Connect:
- The installer wizard will open. Follow the on-screen prompts to install OpenVPN Connect.
- You can typically accept the default installation settings, but feel free to customize them based on your preferences.

Download OpenVPN Configuration Files:
- Login to Client Area
- Select your Active Server
- Scroll down to Other Options
- Make a note of your VPN Login Details - VPN Username/VPN Password
- Click download Cert Files and download the configs closest to your locations

Import Configuration Files:
- Once you have the configuration files, open the OpenVPN Connect client.
- In the system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen), right-click on the OpenVPN Connect icon (it looks like a monitor with a lock) and select "Import file..."
- Navigate to the folder where you saved the downloaded configuration files and select one of them (usually with the
.ovpn
extension).

Connect to VPN:
- After importing the configuration file, right-click on the OpenVPN Connect icon again and select the server you want to connect to.
- You might be prompted to enter your VPN username and password. Enter the credentials provided by your VPN service.

Establish Connection:
- Once connected, the OpenVPN Connect icon will turn green, indicating a successful connection.

Disconnect:
- To disconnect from the VPN, right-click on the OpenVPN Connect icon in the system tray and select "Disconnect."
